The University of Colorado Senior Class Council and CU STAND are hosting the Annual Forever Buffs 5K run on Sunday, April 11, 2010 at 8:00am through the CU-Boulder campus to raise money for both student groups. Raised money for the Senior Class Council will be used to fund events for CU seniors, such as the senior Legacy Ball and Commencement activities. Money raised by CU STAND will be donated to humanitarian aid for people forced into refugee camps by the crisis in Darfur.

Back with a vengeance we storm A-Basin’s famed beach for a second straight year. WE get there early, WE set everything up, YOU roll in with your friends and have an epic day. What does a beach day entail? Well, BBQs, music, tailgate games, crazy costumes, plenty of adult beverages, and oh yea, awesome spring skiing on the legend that is A-Basin. The Rockies are back in action for a promising 2010 season. We’ll be catching several games this year and our first one is on Friday night, April 23rd. Tulowitzki & Co. welcome the Florida Marlins into Coors Field for the first of a 3 game series. First pitch is at 7:10 and we’ll be convening at Blake St. Tavern before the game. There will be free appetizers and drink prices far lower than the stadium offers.
Our tickets are in the lower infield between 3rd base & the left field foul pole. The face value on these seats is $38 but we are offering them to you for only $25! Make sure you get your tickets early as WE WILL SELL OUT!

Calling All CU Alums – Help Give Away Free Money!
Once again this year, the CU Young Alums will be reading scholarship essays and choosing the recipients of the Alumni Association and Parent Association Scholarships. These scholarships go to deserving CU Sophomores, Junior and Seniors. Last year, almost 30 volunteers sat on the Scholarship Selection Committee, and together we awarded $63,000 in scholarships! We are looking for volunteers for this year’s committee to do the same.
You must be a graduate of CU-Boulder to participate. We’ll meet on Tuesday April 6th, 2010. Refreshments will be provided.
