Come join your fellow Young Alums watch the Avalanche take on the Anaheim Mighty Ducks
Saturday, January 31st the CU Young Alums will be hosting a match-up between the Avs & the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim in what should prove to be a great contest as the two teams begin to position themselves for a playoff push. The puck drops at 1:00pm and we welcome you to stop by Brooklyn’s before the game to join up for the pre-game party starting at 11:30am. We encourage you invite your friends, family and even the little tykes if you’d like for this day game match-up.
We have 85 tickets reserved in the 3rd level, section 356. The price of the tickets are $40 a piece (face value) and include a voucher for a free hot dog & Pepsi product as well as a $5 game card to the ESPN Zone. Order your tickets early as we will sell out our allotment of seats. If you order at least a week in advance of the game you will have the option of having your tickets mailed to you. Otherwise you will need to pick them up at the pre-party at Brooklyn’s.

After successful wine tastings in September and December, we have decided to give it another go…this time for SINGLES!
Please join fellow single alums for a fun night of wine tasting! Whether you are looking for some good wine, new friends or a date for Valentine’s Day this will be the event for you. Feel free to bring friends as this will be a fun atmostphere to meet new people.
Taste and purchase some wine to enjoy leading up to “Singles Awareness Day” on February 14th. The theme will be romance…with a twist. Ticket price includes appetizers and we will be raffling off a gift.

Support CU at CU Advocacy Day
WHO: CU Advocacy Day at Colorado State Capitol is for University of Colorado alumni and friends interested in promoting the CU and higher education with elected officials.
WHAT: The primary goal of CU Advocacy Day is to show alumni support for the University of Colorado by learning about legislative issues affecting higher education in Colorado; discussing the importance of higher education in your area; and getting to know the legislative process so you can advocate for CU.

WHY: The University of Colorado is a state-funded institution which requires support from the Colorado Legislature. Therefore, the objective of CU Advocacy Day is to advance the university’s mission by encouraging alumni to share in the building of a strong CU System by soliciting support for higher education. CU alumni can provide a unique service to the university. We need your participation because nothing could be more impressive than showing off the accomplishments of CU alumni who have benefited from higher education.

Come join the Young Alums watch the Nuggets take on Allen Iverson & the Detroit Pistons
Friday, January 9th the CU Young Alums will be hosting another night with the Nuggets as we watch them take on the Detroit Pistons. It’s a great match-up between two of the best teams in the league, plus it will be former Nugget, Allen Iverson’s first return to the Pepsi Center. We also encourage you to join us for our pre-game party at Brooklyn’s before the game starting at 5:00pm.
We have 90 tickets reserved in the corner of the 3rd level, section 312. The cost of the ticket is $20 (face value is $25). Order your tickets early as we will sell out our allotment of seats.
